Just so I don't have to email out all 951 of the photos we took, here are a select few from our 3 weeks in Peru and Bolivia. Very briefly, Jo went to Venezuela for2 weeks before meeting me in Lima, the Peruvian capital. We then flew to Cuzco the next day to start acclimatising to the altitude (3600m) before doing the Inca trail. After 3 days of trekking we got up early on the 4th day to visit Machu Picchu before returning to Cuzco. We then took a bus to Copcabana in Bolivia on the south coast of Lake Titicaca where we stayed for a couple of days to recover from our myriad illnesses. After that we visited La Paz (the highest capital city in the world) before returning to Peru via Puno and Arequipa where we saw the condors at Colca Canyon. Finally we visited Ica and Huacachina to rest and recuperate in the sunshine before coming home.
